We show up for each other
Above everything else, we support one another. When we draw on one another’s strengths and experience, that’s when we’re at our best. Each of us is effectively the product that we sell, so when people choose Fitzgerald, they’re buying our people. That means we need to make sure we deliver. But it also means we need to look after one another when the pressure is on.  

We make our clients feel like a big deal (because they are)
Our clients are why we are here. So making sure they get what they need is a really big deal. When we’re really firing on all cylinders we can sometimes help them understand what they need before they know themselves. It’s less important that we tell our clients that we care about them and much better to show them in the way we treat them and the challenges they’re dealing with.  

Every day’s a school day
Growth is good for us – and our clients. That means that for us every day’s a school day and a chance to learn something new. So we hit the books, surf the web, soak up training, learn on the job (and from just about everyone). For our clients it means we help their people do the same, which in turn helps them grow their business.  

We sweat the small stuff
We know that sometimes the small stuff is the big stuff. That’s why we set the bar pretty high for everything we do, for ourselves and for one another. If we don’t think we can do it well, we won’t do it. We’re always looking for ways to be better too, which is why asking for honest feedback – and then acting on it – is one of our superpowers.  

We focus on the finish line
We’ll do whatever it takes to achieve a great outcome. This means we dig in even when – particularly when – the going gets tough. We just keep patiently solving problems and clearing obstacles, making consistent progress towards our goals to achieve success – professionally and for our business and our clients. We know that worthwhile things can be difficult to accomplish and take time, perseverance and discipline to achieve. We walk the talk, own our failures (and learn from them) and focus on the finish line.

We are always looking for win-win outcomes, and if something’s off we don’t sugarcoat the truth – if it’s tricky we get stuck in and try to see the big picture.
